TALIPES EQUINOVARUS
My Disability
I was born with a condition called Talipes Equinovarus and Clubbed foot, an impairment that affects one in a thousand babies in the UK every year. There are two types of the deformity, one being congenital (from birth) and one to do with womb placement (the position of the baby within the womb). I was fortunate to have a combination of both!
From county level basketballer, to gold medallist high jumper.

We all need a Great Team
Team
Although high jump is an individual sport, there is a huge demand for an efficient team to make the most out of the athlete. It requires expertise in a multitude of disciplines, and great communication between them.
I have been fortunate to have the help and experience of some of the most knowledgeable professionals of their fields, and they are all passionate in helping others become world renowned Paralympic athletes.
Sports Ambassador
A passion of mine is to help people, and one of the ways I have been able to do that is as an ambassador.
